Elder Samuel Barlow - Florida Jacksonille Mission

This week has flew by so fast it's crazy! Here's the highlights: We did service from a lady named Tonya and I mowed a lawn for the first time in a long time so that was good. She has this huge goat. Not even joking it's probably like 100 lbs and it eats everything. The goat jumped on the fence so I could pet her, that was nice. We shared a scripture and gave her the book of mormon (Tonya not the goat). Hopefully we get to teach her more. I went on a tradeoff which is where I go to a different area with a different companion for a day. So I was with Elder Wyatt in St John's River which has the world golf hall of fame which I thought was a very weird place to put it but nobody asked me when it was built so yeah. I can't remember a lot except for biking 40 miles on narrow roads with no bike lane. I wasn't on my bike and the seat on this one sucked so my butt was so sore. Football Aight this week started out the same with district council and a nice barbecue chicken pizza with pineapple! Always good. We played soccer that night and I was dealing! We won of course. My tennis shoes are wrecked now from the mud. Wednesday we helped good ol Patt with her garage. Apparently it has never been this messy in her life, sure patt. But we still loved helping out.  Wolf with Elder Mcmean We then had a good lesson with Jerry, talked about who HF Jesus Christ and the holy ghost are. He is very stubborn but in a nice way but I think we are getting somewhere. Thursday was boring but we had good soup. We also had a chicken parm this week I think it was from olive garden a member dropped them off. Friday I was on an exchange with Elder McMean in St Augustine, the oldest city in the United states, we visited some very interesting people. One lady owns a wolf, like she needs a license to have it. She fed us this nasty supposed broth and a delicious grilled ch...

This week was really good. We planted flowers for this lady Patt and are starting to teach her kind of but she doesn't know it yet. I am her favorite because I know how to plant flower s correctly apparently, so thanks mom. We went and played soccer again and it was super fun, I totally destroyed this old Latvian or Serbian dude, I dont know where hes from but hes old and has a think accent, but the important part is that I nutmeged him. But the downside to playing soccer in florida is that you feel like you just got out of the shower then put some clothes on. Wednesday we had zone conference so it was super good to go and see some friends. And I guess the actual conference was good too, for real it was, we learned a lot and are excited to go out and try everything we learned. We also got chick fil a but they had no bbq sauce so I had to settle for chick fil a sauce which is not my favorite still good though.
