November 11, 2019 - Friday Night Lights

Aight this week started out the same with district council and a nice barbecue chicken pizza with pineapple! Always good. We played soccer that night and I was dealing! We won of course. My tennis shoes are wrecked now from the mud. Wednesday we helped good ol Patt with her garage. Apparently it has never been this messy in her life, sure patt. But we still loved helping out.

We then had a good lesson with Jerry, talked about who HF Jesus Christ and the holy ghost are. He is very stubborn but in a nice way but I think we are getting somewhere. Thursday was boring but we had good soup. We also had a chicken parm this week I think it was from olive garden a member dropped them off. Friday I was on an exchange with Elder McMean in St Augustine, the oldest city in the United states, we visited some very interesting people. One lady owns a wolf, like she needs a license to have it. She fed us this nasty supposed broth and a delicious grilled cheese. But I got back to my area in time for the night. 

 Now for my subject title this week. Me and Elder Dockstader have been working with a member family, the dad is not a member, and the son is an offensive lineman for the high school Bartram. They are undefeated and are in playoffs right now so we went with them and it was so fun they crushed the other team 42-0. Nick the young man played awesome and bullied some kids on the line. They are moving on. They are actually way good and could win state. Nick was so pumped when he found out we came and got a nice pic. Saturday was so good, we went to a member baptism then did some family history. Had taco salad. Elder Dockstader and I are really into dumb dumb suckers right now and have eaten a ton we are gonna make a quilt out of the wrappers. We had an awesome lesson with Tom who was telling us how he doesn't like all the churches today because it's not the the biblical church so we said Tom can we tell you a story that will fix that. We are super hyped for him. Anyway that's my week, I just want all of you to know I know that this is the true church and I am so grateful for the book of mormon and the blessings it brings so everyone should read it!

  Yes indeed, this will be my last weekly email. I don't know how all of you are going to live without my every once in a while updates lol. This week has been awesome. It has gone by so fast, we have had so many different things to do. On Tuesday we had beers with Brother dodge (don't worry its just root beer but he likes to freak people out and have fun with it). We went with him to a recent converts place, Bob, to watch a book of Mormon video and it was wonderful until the video ended and bro dodge proceeded to tell Vietnam War stories for 2 hours. It was brutal. OK so there is a recent convert here named Grace and she is probably one of the coolest people I've met on my mission. We got to talk to her on Thurs night and hear her conversion story and it was awesome. She is one of those people that just gets it, and she is all in for the gospel. September 21, 2020 - Go Jags

  Yo! This week was filled with a bunch of stuff so I'll give a few highlights Monday we golfed in the morning, hit up bdubs (their new sauces are trash) and then had a nerf war lol, felt like I was 12 again. It was awesome. Tuesday we did service at some organic farm, pretty cool since the lady requested help on Facebook, and that was something. We picked sweet potatoes for 4 straight hours, I could never be a farmer. I did find the largest potato and it was about the size of my head. Ants, spiders, and ticks were all prevalent but I'm still moving.  That night we went to Rhondas for a little good bye dinner. It was sweet we had lasagna and she also got apple pie and ice cream, because I said pie was my favorite. I felt I had made a mistake after she put two huge pieces on my plate with ice cream, but I was a champ and put it down. June 8, 2020 - Tropical Storm < Tropical Wool

  This week has actually been really good! We had interviews this week with President Wood and we got to do them in person so that was awesome! We also had a referral this week for a Bible study and this dude is awesome, his name is Sedrick and he loved being able to study with us. Hopefully he will be just as excited to hear about the restoration! We also finally got to have a sit down lesson our Chinese friend and it was awesome! Just kidding I have no idea since I didn't understand anything but I think it went pretty good and she wants to keep doing more so that's something.  It has been raining for like a week straight because of the tropical storm in Louisiana. Which is great but it washes out all the ants from the dirt and so they are all over the parking lot, we've had ants all over and in our car for 3 straight days.
