December 16, 2019 - Christmas Time

This week was pretty cool and it went by very fast so that was good too. I started this week out with a tradeoff and I went to the are next to us called St John's River with Elder Rawson. We had tons of fun and had fried chicken so it was a success. On Wednesday night Elder Dockstader and I put on a youth activity which was basically a Christmas Party with a couple ugly sweaters and hot chocolate and it was way fun. We have a lot of cool youth who are very willing and open to do missionary work, almost every week someone brings a non member friend either to church or mutual and it's awesome.

 Thursday night we had two good lessons with members about how they can light the world with the people around them. Then Friday morning we went and did service at the horse place again and it rained all the day and night before so there is nothing better than scooping horse poop in puddles. All for the good though. That night we went to a priest in our wards high school basketball game it was way fun and I got a free shirt out of it so that was cool. 

 Saturday we put on a sports day for the whole stake at the church and we played flag football I was lookin like "Sunshine" Ronnie bass throwing and running in touchdowns but I also got my shirt wripped so that was a rip also I'm not sure if that's how you spell wripped. We left from that to go to a light the world booth in st Augustine with all the other missionaries in our area and it was a blast. We got to see a lot of lights and talk to a lot of people.

  Yes indeed, this will be my last weekly email. I don't know how all of you are going to live without my every once in a while updates lol. This week has been awesome. It has gone by so fast, we have had so many different things to do. On Tuesday we had beers with Brother dodge (don't worry its just root beer but he likes to freak people out and have fun with it). We went with him to a recent converts place, Bob, to watch a book of Mormon video and it was wonderful until the video ended and bro dodge proceeded to tell Vietnam War stories for 2 hours. It was brutal. OK so there is a recent convert here named Grace and she is probably one of the coolest people I've met on my mission. We got to talk to her on Thurs night and hear her conversion story and it was awesome. She is one of those people that just gets it, and she is all in for the gospel. September 21, 2020 - Go Jags

  Yo! This week was filled with a bunch of stuff so I'll give a few highlights Monday we golfed in the morning, hit up bdubs (their new sauces are trash) and then had a nerf war lol, felt like I was 12 again. It was awesome. Tuesday we did service at some organic farm, pretty cool since the lady requested help on Facebook, and that was something. We picked sweet potatoes for 4 straight hours, I could never be a farmer. I did find the largest potato and it was about the size of my head. Ants, spiders, and ticks were all prevalent but I'm still moving.  That night we went to Rhondas for a little good bye dinner. It was sweet we had lasagna and she also got apple pie and ice cream, because I said pie was my favorite. I felt I had made a mistake after she put two huge pieces on my plate with ice cream, but I was a champ and put it down. June 8, 2020 - Tropical Storm < Tropical Wool

  This week has actually been really good! We had interviews this week with President Wood and we got to do them in person so that was awesome! We also had a referral this week for a Bible study and this dude is awesome, his name is Sedrick and he loved being able to study with us. Hopefully he will be just as excited to hear about the restoration! We also finally got to have a sit down lesson our Chinese friend and it was awesome! Just kidding I have no idea since I didn't understand anything but I think it went pretty good and she wants to keep doing more so that's something.  It has been raining for like a week straight because of the tropical storm in Louisiana. Which is great but it washes out all the ants from the dirt and so they are all over the parking lot, we've had ants all over and in our car for 3 straight days.
