January 27, 2020 - Sweater Weather
Wow another week gone.
Wednesday we got up at 5 to go play basketball with a bunch of other elders which was way fun but we had zone conference right after so we all showered at the church and then went straight to the church after having a little yogurt we found in the fridge for breakfast (don't worry the sign on the fridge says if it's not labeled it's for the taking). Zone conference was way good we learned a lot about using the spirit and teaching members but also following up on our commitments. Right after we went on a trade off and I stayed in my area with Elder Conte who is from Idaho somewhere. We had a good time and helped Patt out then she gave us a nice cake afterwards which we still haven't eaten all of.
Thursday we went and taught Tom about the 11 witnesses and what that means and how it adds to the book of Mormons authenticity. They are actually really cool so if any of you haven't read them go read them. We traded back right after that.
Friday we helped out at Jackie's again and we did all sorts of odd jobs that she needed, nothing better (except for the things that are) than being in a barn with an old radio playing country music. A chicken laid eggs in the barn so we got to pick those too. We left and went straight to patts for the second time this week but she's leaving on a trip so we had to get the house ready. Then we went to the Loucels for dinner and had Alfredo!
Um Saturday we went and taught Walt. We talked about prayer a lot which is good because he needs to pray if he is ever going to find out if the book of mormon is true. He says he wishes a beam of light would just hit him so it would make it easier on all of his family so we are praying for that lol. Then we went to the church to do some family history work, research, and get sheet music for this upcoming performance that we are in. Then we had sports day which was good but all I have to say is that not many sports were played that day. Just weird games that don't require athletics or balls. Which is fine but it doesn't do the title justice. Oh we got new plates and bowls which is probably a bright spot this week.
Sunday we went over to the Alomia's for a brunch which was fun, and watched Emilio hydro-dip a hydro flask. Then we went home did a nice study then went over to bishops for dinner. That's pretty much it I love you all have a great week
