March 2, 2020 - March?!?

This week flew by but it also had a lot of disappointments. We had lots of appointments of appointments fall through. But I know that God is aware of each of us and our individual feelings and problems. Because this week was frustrating but on Sunday, fast Sunday, we just got done with studies after church and we were going to break our fast and eat dinner. But I felt like we should go visit one person before we ate, so we left and met Diane right as she was leaving and it was so needed for us to be there in that moment. She told us about all the things going wrong in her life and that she has looked at so many churches but never found peace. We said a prayer with her gave her a book of mormon and made an appointment for  Saturday. She cried as we were talking and I could feel the spirit so strongly. Missions are so hard and I have got rejected a lot but those few experiences make it all worth it. 

I just want to bear testimony that this gospel is true and the book of mormon is the most powerful and peaceful book on this earth so yall need to read it every day and I promise you it will bring blessings into your life that you would never have thought of or gotten without it.

  Yes indeed, this will be my last weekly email. I don't know how all of you are going to live without my every once in a while updates lol. This week has been awesome. It has gone by so fast, we have had so many different things to do. On Tuesday we had beers with Brother dodge (don't worry its just root beer but he likes to freak people out and have fun with it). We went with him to a recent converts place, Bob, to watch a book of Mormon video and it was wonderful until the video ended and bro dodge proceeded to tell Vietnam War stories for 2 hours. It was brutal. OK so there is a recent convert here named Grace and she is probably one of the coolest people I've met on my mission. We got to talk to her on Thurs night and hear her conversion story and it was awesome. She is one of those people that just gets it, and she is all in for the gospel. September 21, 2020 - Go Jags

  Yo! This week was filled with a bunch of stuff so I'll give a few highlights Monday we golfed in the morning, hit up bdubs (their new sauces are trash) and then had a nerf war lol, felt like I was 12 again. It was awesome. Tuesday we did service at some organic farm, pretty cool since the lady requested help on Facebook, and that was something. We picked sweet potatoes for 4 straight hours, I could never be a farmer. I did find the largest potato and it was about the size of my head. Ants, spiders, and ticks were all prevalent but I'm still moving.  That night we went to Rhondas for a little good bye dinner. It was sweet we had lasagna and she also got apple pie and ice cream, because I said pie was my favorite. I felt I had made a mistake after she put two huge pieces on my plate with ice cream, but I was a champ and put it down. June 8, 2020 - Tropical Storm < Tropical Wool

  This week has actually been really good! We had interviews this week with President Wood and we got to do them in person so that was awesome! We also had a referral this week for a Bible study and this dude is awesome, his name is Sedrick and he loved being able to study with us. Hopefully he will be just as excited to hear about the restoration! We also finally got to have a sit down lesson our Chinese friend and it was awesome! Just kidding I have no idea since I didn't understand anything but I think it went pretty good and she wants to keep doing more so that's something.  It has been raining for like a week straight because of the tropical storm in Louisiana. Which is great but it washes out all the ants from the dirt and so they are all over the parking lot, we've had ants all over and in our car for 3 straight days.
